Emily Higgins

Emily Higgins is a Brooklyn based artist who grew up in Boston, but takes much of her inspiration from time spent out west. She is drawn to the vast skies and sweeping landscapes. Emily works full time as an Art Teacher with the NYC DOE, and while studying for her masters in art education, was introduced to the medium of watercolor, which she quickly fell in love with. Combining her love of the land with that of watercolor came naturally, and she continues to play with the two.
